Cheerleading is one of the most rewarding things in the world — the friendships, the confidence, the teamwork, the memories… and, obviously, the BOWS!
But we also know that all that sparkle can come with a pretty sparkly price tag. Uniforms, competition fees, travel, hotels, shoes, camps and everything in between can add up FAST.
So, one of the little ways we try to give back to the cheer community is by randomly donating to cheerleader fundraisers whenever we can. 💜
We absolutely LOVE a good “Fill My Bow” or “Fill My Pom” fundraiser, and at this point, we’ve had our car washed by cheerleaders in more towns than I can possibly count! 😂 If there’s a cheerleader somewhere raising money to chase a dream, there’s a pretty good chance we’re going to want to toss a little glitter in their direction.
This is only our first year doing anything like this, so we knew we had to start small. Most of our donations may only be a few dollars here and there, but we hope every single one helps move a cheerleader just a tiny bit closer to her goal.
Because lots of little bits of support can eventually add up to something pretty amazing. 💕
And speaking of adding up…
As of October 3rd, 2026, we’ve been lucky enough to donate $1403 to cheerleader fundraisers! ✨💜✨
That number honestly makes us ridiculously happy.
It’s $633 worth of bows being filled, poms getting a little fuller, car washes getting a little wetter, goals getting a little closer — and cheerleaders getting a little reminder that there are people out here cheering for them, too.
We’re still small. We’re still just getting started. But as Vaguely Veronica grows, we hope this little tradition grows right along with us.
