It’s Not Easy Being a Fictional Character…
Seriously. People expect you to be cheerful all the time.
There are bows to fluff, glitter to scatter, memes to make, pins to admire, cheer competitions to obsess over, and apparently someone has to keep reminding the world that there is no such thing as too much sparkle.
Hi! I’m Veronica, the big-bow energy behind Vaguely Veronica—a slightly chaotic, ridiculously sparkly corner of the internet created around one very obvious obsession:
CHEER. 💖🎀✨
We love the routines.
We love the competitions.
We love the friendships.
We love the confidence.
We love the teamwork.
We love the excitement.
We even love those ridiculously long competition days when everyone is exhausted, running on snacks, and somehow there is still glitter absolutely everywhere.
And, obviously… WE LOVE THE BOWS.
A Little More Than Glitter
Vaguely Veronica started as a place to have fun—to share cheer-inspired memes, coloring pages, ridiculous thoughts, holiday silliness, sparkly creations, and whatever else wandered into Veronica’s slightly over-bedazzled imagination.
But somewhere along the way, it became about something a little bigger.
The cheer community.
Cheer has an amazing way of connecting people who might otherwise never meet. Athletes, parents, coaches, gyms, families, friends and even those of us cheering from the sidelines all become part of this wonderfully loud, supportive, slightly glitter-covered world.
And we want Vaguely Veronica to give a little of that spirit back.
Whenever and wherever we can, we look for small ways to support, celebrate, encourage, and give back to the cheer community that gives us so much inspiration.
Sometimes that means recognizing an amazing cheerleader.
Sometimes it means sending a little encouragement.
Sometimes it’s celebrating someone’s story.
Sometimes it’s exchanging cheer pins through Pin Pals and discovering that a tiny decorated clothespin can travel hundreds—or even thousands—of miles and make someone smile.
And sometimes it’s simply creating something silly enough to brighten somebody’s day.
We might not be able to change the whole cheer world…
…but we can certainly throw a little more glitter at it. ✨
Around Here, “Normal” Is a Very Loose Concept
One day Veronica might be talking about something meaningful within cheer.
The next she might be celebrating a completely ridiculous holiday nobody knew existed.
Then there are memes, games, coloring pages, cheer questions, Pin Pals, community spotlights, competitions, awards, seasonal chaos and whatever strange idea happens to sound fun that week.
There isn’t really a master plan.

That’s probably where the “Vaguely” part comes in.
But underneath all the pink, purple, bows, glitter and questionable amounts of enthusiasm is something pretty simple:
We love cheer. We love the people who make cheer special. And when we have an opportunity to put a little positivity back into that community, we want to take it.
So grab your bows, fluff those poms, and make yourself at home.
There’s always room for another person in the sparkle squad.
Just watch where you step.
There’s glitter everywhere. 💖
