Okay, cheer fam… somebody gifted us a Cameo video featuring one of our favorite cheerleaders, Brooklynn Lily from Spirit of Texas – Royalty, and my glittery little heart is doing backflips!
An actual message from someone we love watching and cheering for? Excuse me while I straighten my giant bow and try to act normal. Spoiler alert: normal is going to have to wait.
What makes this gift even more special is that Brooklynn shares some really great advice. Between the excitement of seeing her and the joy of receiving such a thoughtful surprise, there’s a message worth slowing down and listening to. And yes, replaying the video is absolutely allowed. We may have some experience with that.
One of my favorite things about the cheer community is how encouragement can travel. Someone you admire can share a few words, and suddenly those words become something you carry into your next practice, your next challenge, or a day when your sparkle needs a little boost.
That’s the kind of spirit we love celebrating here at Vaguely Veronica: cheerleaders lifting each other up, sharing encouragement, and making this community feel a little more connected.
