CHEER IS LIFE… BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF IT?

CHEER IS LIFE… BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF IT?

Cheer is life, but what about the rest, question image

Cheerleading is an AMAZING sport, activity, community, and—let’s face it—sometimes a complete lifestyle choice.

It takes time, dedication, energy, money, weekends, road trips, hotel rooms, hairspray, snacks, approximately seventeen million bobby pins… and an absolutely unreasonable amount of GLITTER.

Between practices, competitions, traveling, fundraising, team events, pinning, recovering from competitions, and trying to remember where you put that one bow you swore was right there… cheer can happily consume a pretty impressive chunk of life.

But somehow, every once in a while, something strange happens…

FREE TIME APPEARS.

So now we’re curious!

When you’re not at practice, heading to a competition, talking about cheer, watching cheer, packing for cheer, unpacking from cheer, or finding glitter in places where glitter has absolutely no business being…

What do YOU do?

Are you artistic or crafty?

A reader?

A gamer?

Into another sport?

Music or dance?

Horses or animals?

Professional-level movie watcher?

Competitive napper?

Or do you have a completely unexpected hobby that has NOTHING to do with cheer?

We spend so much time celebrating what makes everyone part of the cheer world that sometimes we forget to ask what makes everyone interesting outside of it.

So tell us…

When the bows come out and the cheer shoes come off, what do you LOVE doing with your free time?

And yes, collecting cheer pins probably still counts as cheer.
