It’s the friendships that seem to appear out of nowhere and somehow last forever. It’s finding your people—the teammates who celebrate your victories, lift you up after the tough practices, and somehow make even the longest road trips feel way too short.

I love how cheer builds confidence. Every new skill, every performance, every tiny step outside your comfort zone reminds you that you’re capable of more than you thought yesterday. Sometimes the biggest victory isn’t winning a trophy… it’s believing in yourself.

Then there’s the teamwork. Cheer teaches us that amazing things happen when everyone trusts each other. Every flyer, base, back spot, and coach has an important job, and together they create something that none of them could do alone. I think that’s pretty magical.

And if you’ve followed me for even five minutes, you already know how much I adore competition pinning! Trading pins isn’t just collecting souvenirs—it’s collecting stories, smiles, and new friends from all over the country. Every pin reminds me of a team I met, a conversation I had, and a little moment of cheer kindness that I’ll never forget.

And finally…

BOWS.

Big bows, little bows, glitter bows, practice bows, competition bows… if it sparkles and sits on top of my space buns, I’m probably going to love it. They may not make you jump higher or stunt better, but they definitely make cheer just a little more magical.

At the end of the day, I don’t just love cheer because of what happens on the mat. I love it because of the people, the memories, the confidence it builds, the connections it creates, and the joy it spreads.

Oh goodness… where do I even start?!
